Fair Rides. Fair Pay. For New Zealand.
Zoomerrr was founded in response to growing dissatisfaction within New Zealand’s rideshare industry, where drivers were losing a significant portion of their earnings to high commission fees, and riders faced inflated fares. Parminder Singh, a New Zealand-based entrepreneur, identified a gap in the market for a fair, transparent, and community-focused rideshare platform.
Frustrated by the commission-based business models of existing competitors, Parminder envisioned a platform where drivers could keep more of their hard-earned income, and riders could enjoy lower, more affordable fares. Zoomerrr was born with a simple mission: to eliminate commission fees for drivers, charge riders a flat fee of $2.53 per ride, and give back to the community by donating 10% of profits after expenses.
Today, Zoomerrr stands as a people-first, profit-fair model designed to transform the rideshare experience in New Zealand — ensuring both affordability for riders and strong earning potential for drivers.
Our mission at Zoomerrr is to revolutionize the rideshare industry by creating a fair, transparent, and community-driven platform where drivers keep 100% of their fares and riders pay lower, predictable prices. We charge no commission to drivers and a simple $2.53 flat fee to riders, making transportation more affordable while improving driver incomes. Beyond business, we’re committed to giving back — donating 10% of our profits after expenses to support and uplift New Zealand communities. Zoomerrr exists to put people before profits and build a better, fairer future for everyone on the road.
“To build a nation where every New Zealand–owned business gives back to the people.”
